Digital Millennium Copyright Act Compliance and Copyright Protection
QuickDLR respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.
If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe that any content accessible through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA.
How QuickDLR handles files:
- We are not the original publisher: Listings remain on third-party marketplaces (Magnific, Motion Array, and others we support). We do not claim to be those companies.
- We do store copies to deliver downloads: When a signed-in user requests a supported URL, we retrieve the file and store a copy in object storage (hot cache) and may retain an archive copy so we can restore a download the user already requested. Those copies are not a public file host.
- Takedown applies to our copies: A valid DMCA notice can identify the marketplace URL and any QuickDLR download or cache location. We will disable access to copies we control for that material.
- We do not modify creative content: We deliver the package the listing provides. We do not strip watermarks or re-author project files.
To file a notice of infringing material, you must provide a written communication that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or specific location
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Send DMCA takedown notices to our designated agent:
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us by providing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction of federal court
QuickDLR has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Since QuickDLR facilitates downloads from third-party platforms:
- Copyright issues may need to be addressed with the original platform (Freepik, MotionArray, etc.)
- We will cooperate with legitimate takedown requests and platform policies
- Users are responsible for ensuring they have proper licensing for downloaded content
- We recommend contacting the original platform if content violates their terms
QuickDLR is committed to:
- Responding promptly to valid DMCA notices
- Working with copyright owners to resolve disputes
- Educating users about copyright compliance
- Maintaining compliance with platform terms of service
- Implementing reasonable measures to prevent copyright infringement
